Rep. Richmond Announces Over $1.8M in Funding for Health Center Sites in New Orleans and Luling

WASHINGTON – May 6, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Today, Rep. Richmond (LA-02) announced approximately $1.8 million in Affordable Care Act funding to two new community health center sites in New Orleans and one in Luling for comprehensive primary health care services.

“These new clinics, provided through funding from the Affordable Care Act will allow easier access to healthcare in the neighborhoods that have been traditionally underserved,” said Rep. Richmond. “Community health centers are on the frontlines of providing dependable, accessible primary care. With unprecedented numbers of Americans with health insurance these facilities are more vital than ever before.”
