DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, ZONING/QUALITY OF LIFE ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF SWEEP

Washington, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — The Jefferson Parish Department of Property Maintenance Zoning Quality of Life conducted a sweep on the Eastbank in Council District 5 on Thursday, February 25, 2016. The streets included in the sweep were Alberta Street, Durand Street, Giuffrias Avenue, Manson Avenue, and Richland Avenue.

Property Maintenance issued 34 citations to properties for various violations, including high grass and weeds, junk and debris, and inoperable vehicles. Twenty-four (24) vehicles were tagged for removal.

Entergy participated in the sweep and reported ten (10) unsealed meters.
