Washington, DC – April 2, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D. (R-South Louisiana), released the following statement after the Housing Authority of the City of Lafayette received a grant of $94,818.00 through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing:
“The funding will directly benefit homeless veterans in South Louisiana by providing rental assistance under a supportive housing program for them. The award will be disbursed to the Housing Authority of the City of Lafayette due to its partnership with eligible VA medical facilities in the area.
