Top Louisiana Real Estate Company Ranks on the 2015 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing U.S. Companies

Baton Rouge, LA – August 12, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Inc. has announced that Darren James Real Estate Experts has earned the position of 975th on the 2015 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Darren James Real Estate’s revenue has increased by 900 percent in the last three years and has only been open since 2011. One of only 29 Louisiana businesses to make the list, Darren James Real Estate Experts was the only Louisiana real estate firm to be honored by Inc.

This honor comes on the heels of The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends recently naming Darren James as one of America’s top 250 real estate teams. Ranking No. 51 nationally for closed team transactions, James and his team moved up 15 spots on the annual list from No. 66 the previous year and have made the list three straight years. They are the only Baton Rouge area real estate team to make this list and are in good company, with companies such as Fitbit, Planet Fitness, and Smashburger being on the Inc. 5000 this year as well.

The Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. A Baton Rouge native, James attended Louisiana State University. He had a nearly 10-year career in law enforcement with the Department of Public Safety before earning his real estate license in 2001. James has been a multi-million dollar producer every year since becoming a Realtor.
