Lafayette, LA – August 13, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., MD, (R-South Louisiana) announced a series of grants from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DoT) to support local and regional airports in South Louisiana.
- Dequincy Industrial Airpark: $103,499 to update Airport Master Plan Study
- Eunice Airport: $851,846 to rehabilitate airport taxiway
- Le Gros Memorial Airport (Crowley): $137,700 to rehabilitate apron and update Airport Master Plan Study
- Lake Charles Regional Airport: $1,818,364 to rehabilitate runway lighting
Boustany said: “Louisiana’s regional airports support local businesses and keep our state competitive. This grant funding will allow these airports to perform much-needed maintenance to their facilities, ensuring Louisiana has a high-functioning airport infrastructure supporting job creation in our communities.”
