City to Demolish Blighted Properties

NEW ORLEANS – (RealEstateRama) — On Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, the City will demolish two properties (7855 and 7857 S. Cornet Ct.) in its continued effort to reduce blight and bring vacant properties back into commerce. The City’s blight reduction strategy, launched in 2010, has reduced blight citywide by over 15,000 addresses. The strategy prioritizes data-driven decision-making, innovative enforcement policies, and opportunities for reinvestment to grow and strengthen neighborhoods.
